    About ULTRAcel Q+
      • What is unique about the ULTRAcel Q+?

        ULTRAcel Q+ is a safe, state-of-the-art, non-invasive treatment for lifting and tightening areas of the face and body using High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU). New technology, exclusive to ULTRAcel Q+, can also target fat tissue, allowing the treatment to be used to contour specific areas. Unlike other HIFU treatments, the ULTRAcel Q+ is almost 3 times faster, resulting in minimal discomfort and quicker treatment time.

      • How long does a treatment take?

        The length of the treatment will depend on the area being treated and your individual treatment plan. A face and neck treatment takes 8-10 minutes, while a partial body treatment takes approximately 15-30 minutes.

      • What does the treatment feel like?

        As the HIFU is delivered, you will feel small amounts of energy travelling down into the skin. This indicates that collagen-building process has started. Minimal discomfort may vary from person-to-person, but the sensation will only last as long as the energy is being delivered. No anaesthetic is required for an ULTRAcel Q+ treatment.

      • When will I see results and how long with they last?

        For facial treatments, you may notice your skin is smoother and tighter immediately after the treatment, however the full result will take place over the following 6 months as new collagen is produced. For fat reduction treatments, you may notice an immediate contouring effect, but the full effects will continue to improve over the following 6 months. As skin continues to age, further treatments can help to slow down the natural ageing process.

    Your expert consultation gives you the perfect opportunity to ask any questions you might have. We will talk through all you need to know about the ULTRACEL Q+ treatment, assess your skin, perform a full area analysis and discuss your aims to develop a treatment plan that is exactly right for you. Full information on what the procedure involves, risks and aftercare instructions will be given. Before and after photos can be shown at consultation to give you an idea of what the treatment can achieve.

    2 The Treatment

    Your clinician will endeavour in good faith to employ the principles of best practice in delivering your treatment. Each patient is individual and response to treatment will vary from patient to patient and treatment to treatment. As such it is difficult to guarantee outcomes will always meet your expectations.

    3 Aftercare

    It may be recommended to use a cold pack at home following the treatment if redness and warmth in the treatment area is uncomfortable. The use of a noncomedogenic moisturizer, and a sunscreen exceeding SPF 30 is recommended. Make up can be applied immediately following treatment if desired. Deep facials and facial massages should be avoided during your treatment course. Please ask your clinician for an after-care sheet which will give important contact details and a summary of our advice.
