    Dr Platon Cold Plasma Therapy utilises advanced Plasma Shower technology to deliver cold (non-thermal) atmospheric plasma to the skin’s surface.     What is Dr Platon Cold Plasma Therapy?

    Dr Platon employs Plasma Shower technology to transform atmospheric gases—primarily oxygen and nitrogen—into cold plasma at temperatures between 35–40°C. This non-thermal plasma is safe to the touch and non-ablative, making it suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.

    The cold plasma works by:

    – Destroying acne-causing bacteria (P. acnes)
    – Reducing inflammation and soothing irritated skin
    – Balancing sebum production to prevent future breakouts
    – Stimulating collagen production for improved skin elasticity
    – Enhancing absorption of skincare products by up to 24%

    2 The Treatment

    Your clinician will endeavour in good faith to employ the principles of best practice in delivering your treatment. Each patient is individual and response to treatment will vary from patient to patient and treatment to treatment. As such it is difficult to guarantee outcomes will always meet your expectations.

    3 Aftercare

    It may be recommended to use a cold pack at home following the treatment if redness and warmth in the treatment area is uncomfortable. The use of a noncomedogenic moisturizer, and a sunscreen exceeding SPF 30 is recommended. Make up can be applied immediately following treatment if desired. Deep facials and facial massages should be avoided during your treatment course. Please ask your clinician for an after-care sheet which will give important contact details and a summary of our advice.
